Just days before delivering her son, Leah developed the rare pregnancy complication Acute Fatty Liver of Pregnancy (AFLP), causing her liver and kidneys to fail. An emergency C-section, intensive care, and lifesaving platelet transfusions helped save her life. Now fully recovered, Leah shares her story to remind others that every blood and platelet donation has the power to save someone facing an unexpected medical emergency.
